Hotdog sauces and toppings for the hospitality industry
At LA Streetfood, the wholesaler and importer of hot dog toppings, we believe in the distinctive effect of combinations. This means that the use of different toppings, and the endless combinations on top, makes your catering company different from your neighbour!
With a hot dog, the sauces and toppings really make the difference for your restaurant!
There are sauces that work really well on the hot dog, such as the American Mustard, the Sweet Pickle Relish, and the Ballymaloe Tomato Relish. But did you know that you can also use hot sauces and toppings for a hot dog? With warm sauces and toppings on the hot dog, you prevent the hot dog from cooling down quickly. Very tasty and sometimes even necessary, if for example, you want to deliver your hot dog to the guest. Think, for example, of warm cheese sauce, warm bacon, warm caramelized onions and warm BBQ sauce.
Do you want a hipper hot dog?
Think of a home-made mango relish, combined with Pico de Gallo and topped with fresh spring onion and hemp sauce. Do you want more ideas? Then contact team LA Streetfood and we will arrange samples and recipes! Or order directly via our webshop or via one of our partner wholesalers!

Hot cheese sauce on a hot dog
It's amazing how the American Cheddar Cheese Sauce is ingrained in the American food culture. How surprised Americans are when they see how much mayonnaise we put on our fries and how surprised every European is when they see how much hot cheese sauce the Americans consume every year. Cheddar cheese sauce goes perfectly with a freshly grilled hot dog, especially if you combine it with other toppings or sauces. The hot cheese sauce goes very well with toppings such as caramelized onions, grilled bacon, BBQ sauce. But you can also easily make a Mexican hot dog with it, with fresh tomato, avocado and jalapeños.
